Renata is certified in CBT for Anxiety & OCD and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. She is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Natural Sciences from Lewis University. Her approach to counseling is influenced by Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance, Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic practices to help clients foster self-awareness and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Her goal is to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients and provide a nonjudgmental environment for healing to transpire. Renata invites clients to bring their whole, authentic selves into counseling and takes a holistic approach to support their mental health and wellness. Outside of the clinical world, Renata enjoys painting, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures and has a keen interest in mindfulness.
