The Light On Anxiety one-year training institute gives new associates the tools to learn the psychoeducation and treatment protocol, as well as discuss and role play case studies, of each condition offered at our practice.

The Five Core Components on the 1-Year Clinical Training Institute
LOA Grand Rounds
Each week, a clinician will be asked to present a case during Grand Rounds for collaborative discussion.
Self-Guided Training
Approximately 150 hours of trainings on top clinical condition seen at Light On Anxiety.
Clinician Success Group
Provide peer coaching for clinical, admin and operational support. Fulfills LCSW Sup requirements if needed (open your TN calendar to see when these meetings take place).
LOA Learning Lab
Provide clinical training on empirically-supported treatment of top clinical conditions seen at Light On Anxiety.
CBT for Child, Adolescents & Parent Anxiety
A customized 12-week training on empirically-supported treatment for children and parents.
Graduation From Our Clinical Training Institute
Your participation in Light On Anxiety’s one year Clinical Training Institute will provide you with all of the supervision, targeted training material and support that you will need to develop a clinical expertise in the treatment of all of the clinical conditions seen at Light On Anxiety across the lifespan.
Graduation requirements include:
- Completion of all required trainings found in Paycom Learning
- Clinical supervisor readiness assessment based upon LOA performance competencies.
- Demonstration of clinical proficiency of the top clinical conditions seen at LOA.
Ongoing Clinical Training at Light On Anxiety
Clinical Supervision
All clinicians attend supervision with an appointed doctorate-level Clinical Supervisor. Each supervisee will share about a case for 3-5 minutes.
LOA’s Monthly Training
LOA requires staying up-to-date on the provision evidence-based treatment for anxiety and related disorders.
Clinician Success Group
Following the 1-year requirement, clinicians can choose to continue to attend Clinician Success Groups for licensing needs or additional support.
Paycom Trainings
Evidence-based, curated trainings are regularly added to Paycom Learning to enhance your professional development.
