Madeline Phillips, MSW

Madeline received a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Social Work from Mars Hill University. Her clinical background includes extensive crisis intervention training and working with youth and adult populations on a wide range of concerns, including those related to anxiety and traumatic experiences. Madeline has a special interest in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB) to support clients in reducing body-focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania and skin picking. She also especially enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with her clients because it provides them with the tools they need to engage in hard work and achieve their own goals.
Utilizing a strengths-based approach, Madeline seeks to create a space that promotes growth and empowers her clients to reach their full potential. In her free time, Madeline enjoys embroidery and will gladly spend an afternoon wandering the aisles of a craft store looking for her next challenge!
