Julie Oslan, LSW

Julie is a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. She helps clients to move past their anxiety and depression by promoting the use of brain training exercises to help them rewire their brain to reach its maximum potential. She is a native Chicagoan who received her master’s in social work at Loyola University and her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Miami.
Julie’s therapeutic style combines a direct approach with mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She embraces the concept that clients learn and grow at their own pace and is constantly seeking information and resources to provide them with the best support possible. By serving as an advocate for her clients, Julie assists them in managing challenges and moving through obstacles in order to live their best life. In addition to her clinical experience, Julie has a background in art therapy and pet therapy.
To this day Julie and her two adult daughter’s use CBT therapy – it is ingrained in their lifestyle. On the weekends you will find Julie on the pickle ball or tennis courts.
Julie works with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families.
