Dr. Ashley Kendall
Dr. Kendall received her PhD from Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois) and is actively engaged in both clinical practice and scientific research. She specializes in combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness-based techniques to help patients navigate life transitions and overcome anxiety, stress, and depression. Dr. Kendall also has extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Dr. Kendall enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships in a safe and supportive environment. Her research, which has uncovered new risk factors for anxiety disorders and demonstrated the effectiveness of new intervention methods, has been published in top psychological and medical journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Journal of Abnormal Psychology. Dr. Kendall also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tenzin Gyatso Institute. Named for the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, the Institute seeks to promote the use of evidence-based methods to cultivate mindfulness and compassion in society.
