Yoga & Mindfulness for Anxiety Group

Join us for yoga and mindfulness practices for anxiety! Anxiety can pull us from the present moment and send us into a state of worry and fear. Studies show that the combination of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath work) and mindful meditation can help to alleviate anxiety by training our brain to stay in the present moment. In this group we will incorporate these three practices and more to increase self-awareness and quiet the anxious mind. Dana Weinstein, LSW

Help for Public Speaking Anxiety

Over 20 million people suffer from social anxiety and public speaking anxiety at some point in their life & speaking in public is seen as a fate worse than death, but help is on the way! Join Light on Anxiety's Public Speaking group for adults 18+. We will learn the neuroscience behind anxiety, use coping techniques to reduce social anxiety, and practice public speaking in a supportive, therapeutic environment.
