Meet Jaclyn Brownstone
To schedule an appointment with Light On Anxiety, visit https://lightonanxiety.com/getting-started/
Jaclyn Brownstone is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Jaclyn works with children, adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. She understands how overwhelming it can feel when your thoughts, emotions, or relationships start to feel heavy or stuck, and she values creating a space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what they’re carrying.
Her approach blends practical skill-building with deeper relational work. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also drawing from relational and object relations theory. This allows her to help clients both build tools for managing day-to-day feelings and explore the patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others.
At the heart of Jaclyn’s practice is collaboration and authenticity. She believes therapy should be a space where individuals feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. Each person’s story is unique, and she tailors treatment to align with her clients’ goals, values, and lived experiences.
Outside of work, Jaclyn enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family. ...

It’s an easy, portable way to build mindful breathing into your day, whether you’re at home, school, or on the go.
CBT Exercise Cubes are an interactive, hands-on way to practice coping skills and shift unhelpful thought patterns.
