Ty is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her graduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her undergraduate degree from DePaul University. She is a warm, empathetic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive therapist whose passion is to support people from all walks of life. Ty’s ultimate focus in her therapeutic practice is to help individuals actualize their mental health goals, while empowering them to be their own guiding light.
Ty is committed to providing a person-centered and strengths-based approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to address identified mental health needs. Ty specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating school anxiety, social anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, family dynamics, and socio-cultural challenges. She also has a particular interest in parental coaching and maternal mental health support. No matter where someone may be on their life journey, Ty is dedicated to being a kind and attentive therapist who partners with clients as they work toward their goals.
Outside of the office, Ty enjoys mindfully quiet moments, exploring new places, spontaneous dance parties, and playing fun games with her family.
