Meet Sarah Dunn, LPC

Sarah Dunn
Lakeview Virtual Wilmette

Sarah Dunn is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.

She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, teens, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. She has experience providing counseling in school settings and helping young clients build self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop coping skills. In her current work, Sarah draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while maintaining a warm, collaborative, and developmentally informed style.

Sarah strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe to express themselves, explore challenges, and grow. She values working closely with caregivers to create consistency and support a child’s growth both in and outside of sessions.

When not working, Sarah enjoys running, exploring new restaurants in Chicago, and spending time with friends and family.

I feel very understood and supported by my therapist.
