Nicole Langston is a doctoral extern at Light on Anxiety and a current Psy.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She is passionate about integrative and evidence-based approaches to mental health care, with particular interests in child development, diagnostic assessment, and the intersection of identity and psychological wellness.
Nicole is committed to bringing warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to her clinical work. She values building authentic relationships with clients and approaches each individual with a deep respect for their unique story, cultural background, and lived experiences. She believes in empowering clients through psychoeducation, emotional insight, and skill-building to foster resilience and self-efficacy. Her prior training includes a Social Justice Practicum at A House in Austin, where she supported early childhood development and parent-child enrichment programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Indiana University and completed a European Clinical Psychology concentration at the University of Copenhagen, where she deepened her understanding of culturally informed mental health practices.
Nicole is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and is committed to providing care that is inclusive and empowering for her clients’ lives. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys hiking, water sports, and exploring different restaurants throughout Chicago.
