Highland Park Virtual

Miranda Borkan, MSW, is a skilled and compassionate clinician specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support individuals across the lifespan. With extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families, she integrates evidence-based techniques with a focus on the mind-body connection to foster emotional resilience and well-being.

Miranda’s clinical expertise includes crisis intervention and therapeutic assessment, developed during her work in a partial hospitalization program. Her approach is strengths-based and client-centered, helping clients identify unhelpful patterns and develop actionable strategies to achieve meaningful change.

As a professional dancer and mother of three, Miranda incorporates movement-based practices and a deep understanding of family dynamics into her therapeutic work. She is passionate about empowering clients to build confidence, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with clarity and purpose.

This is my first good experience with therapy and it has really helped me to make some positive changes in my life.
