Meg Sparacino received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina and her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa. With a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based therapies, Meg is committed to supporting her clients using evidence based techniques. Meg has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, panic, phobias, PTSD, social anxiety, and chronic pain.
Meg has worked with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, families, and adults, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each population. In addition to traditional therapy methods, Meg brings a holistic perspective to her work. Her approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and personalized—designed to meet each person where they are and support them in moving toward where they want to be. She strives to create a collaborative, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
When Meg is not working, she enjoys spending time outside with her dog, Pippa, playing pickleball with friends, and trying out new recipes she finds on Pinterest. As a retired competitive swimmer and water polo player, she loves to be in the water whenever she can—especially during the summer months. Her Kindle rarely leaves her side, and she’s always open to exploring new genres. These hobbies are Meg’s favorite form of self-care and help keep her grounded.
