Marissa McDermott earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she learned and built a solid foundation in counseling skills. Marissa has experience working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, school avoidance, panic attacks, and other stressors that come from peers and school expectations. She focuses on creating a space where clients feel comfortable to share what is on their mind as well as using the client’s strengths to guide them towards their goals.
Marissa loves traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with her family and friends.
