Meet Jessica Katz, LSW

Virtual Wilmette

Jessica is a passionate mental health professional with a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has undergone advanced training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and trauma-informed care, understanding the relationship between trauma, the body, and the mind. Jessica excels in guiding individuals from a place of feeling fractured to experiencing wholeness, strength, and empowerment.

With a diverse clinical background spanning adolescents, adults, and families, Jessica is deeply knowledgeable in evidence-based practices. Jessica works with PTSD, depression, body dysmorphia, OCD, and panic along with other anxiety disorders. She skillfully integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to provide comprehensive care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Jessica strives to foster a warm and supportive atmosphere for clients to freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. She values building trust and meaningful connections with her clients. Her ultimate aim is to empower individuals to embrace control over their lives and thrive.

Outside of her clinical work, Jessica loves spending quality time with her puppy, staying active, indulging in music and pop culture, and getting lost in a good book.

I feel like my needs are being met and that I can make a lot of progress here. I feel heard by Jessica.
