Meet Jessica Deering, LPC

Jessica Deering
Arlington Heights Virtual

Jessica Deering earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and went on to complete her M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University.

She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity and self-compassion. Her clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, OCD, panic disorder, specific phobias, and depression.

Jessica works with clients to build self-esteem, cultivate a more authentic sense of self, and develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals gently push beyond their comfort zones in order to create meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of her therapeutic work, Jessica enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, reading, and spending time with her two cats, Bear and Moose.

Jessica is an amazing therapist. Therapy has transformed my life and ability to cope with ocd.
