Grace is a Certified Light On Anxiety Treatment Specialist who completed her Master’s in Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in health psychology and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from DePauw University.
Grace has engaged in training across various settings including intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) at a leading hospital specializing in the treatment of adults with anxiety and OCD. Grace has advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, and related disorders, including but not limited to, Panic Disorder, Phobia-related Disorders, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Illness Anxiety.
Through her training, Grace furthered her commitment to individualized treatment tailored to each client. Grace utilizes evidence-based interventions including ERP, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to raise client’s awareness of their symptoms and help develop effective coping skills, challenge maladaptive thought patterns, and safety seeking behaviors. Grace believes in collaborating with clients to ensure their treatment plan aligns with their current needs and values. She strives to create a safe and empowering space for her clients.
