Ethan Wood, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. He earned his Master of Education in Counseling from DePaul University and spent several years as a School Counselor, where he developed a deep understanding of the emotional and academic challenges faced by young people. Ethan has worked with clients on a wide range of concerns, including mood regulation, grief and loss, school refusal, anxiety, and depression.
Ethan takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients of all ages build resilience and achieve personal growth. He draws on a variety of evidence-based modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.
In addition to his work in counseling, Ethan is a dedicated distance runner with experience coaching athletes at elite levels. He brings a specialized understanding of performance psychology and is especially skilled at helping athletes manage sport-related anxiety and sharpen the mental aspects of training and competition.
