Ethan Wood, M.Ed., LPC, is a Certified Light On Anxiety Treatment Specialist and Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. Ethan earned his Master of Education in Counseling from DePaul University and spent several years as a School Counselor, where he developed a deep understanding of the emotional and academic challenges faced by young people. Ethan has worked with clients on a wide range of concerns, including mood regulation, grief and loss, school refusal, anxiety, and depression.

Ethan takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients of all ages build resilience and achieve personal growth. He draws on a variety of evidence-based modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.

In addition to his work in counseling, Ethan is a dedicated distance runner with experience coaching athletes at elite levels. He brings a specialized understanding of performance psychology and is especially skilled at helping athletes manage sport-related anxiety and sharpen the mental aspects of training and competition.
