Kayla Huber
River North Virtual

Dr. Kayla Huber is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned their Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Dr. Huber has experience in working with clients across the lifespan, and is especially passionate about supporting adults with OCD, PTSD, and all types of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, and panic attacks. Dr. Huber also addresses difficulties that typically occur alongside anxiety, including depression, chronic pain, and gender dysphoria.

Dr. Huber’s mission is to empower clients and give them evidence-backed tools for getting “unstuck,” feeling calmer, and doing more of what they care about. Dr. Huber’s work is grounded in gold standard treatments for OCD and anxiety-related disorders, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Dr. Kayla Huber’s approach to therapy is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. They are passionate about creating a space where it feels safe for clients to show up as their authentic selves, talk about the hard things, and practice new ways of coping. Dr. Huber doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and ensures that treatment is personalized, flexible, and focused on what matters most to each client.

Outside of work, Dr. Huber enjoys reading, weightlifting, and collecting antiques (particularly soda bottles from the 1800s and early 1900s).

Very helpful in empowering me to manage OCD.
