Dr. Jack Brady, PhD, is a Psychologist who earned his doctoral degree at San Diego State University/UC San Diego. Dr. Brady has extensive experience working with populations across the lifespan in hospital and outpatient settings. Dr. Brady is passionate about supporting young adults, especially those with anxiety related disorders such as OCD, social anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism. Dr. Brady has unique training that allows him to support clients from a mind-body approach including pain management, sleep behavior change, and adjustment to chronic illness. Dr. Brady also has special interest and advanced experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Dr. Brady brings a thoughtful, affirming approach to therapy that respects and supports clients from all backgrounds, with special attention to the impact of marginalization and identity. His practice is grounded in collaboration, compassion, and warmth. Dr. Brady specializes in treatments that emphasize the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Outside of work, Dr. Brady enjoys cooking, playing video games, and walking his dog, George.
