Danielle received her Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics which focuses on the understanding of brain development to create the most efficient and beneficial individualized treatment plan.
Compassionate and empathetic, Danielle is dedicated to creating a space where children, adolescents, and adults feel comfortable and safe, as well as empowered and supported. She has a special interest in clients struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, emotion regulation, attachment difficulties, complex trauma, and relational issues.
Danielle’s approach to therapy uses a combination of various interventions and practices to best support and meet the goals of the client. Taking a very strengths-based perspective she uses evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Family Systems and Attachment Theories to best support her clients. It is also especially important to Danielle that she provides gender/LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally conscious, and sex positive care.
In Danielle’s spare time she enjoys cooking, riding her bicycle, doing craft projects, spending time by the lake, and traveling.
