Amy is a mental health professional who graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Masters in Counseling. Amy’s goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where clients can work together to navigate life’s challenges. Amy likes to meet the client where they are at and move at a pace that suits them. Amy works with individuals across the lifespan, addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, trauma, and grief/loss. Her approach is collaborative and strengths-based, incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to tailor the experience to the clients unique needs.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys cozy nights with her cat, Gatsby, watching movies and TV, doing puzzles, playing video games, and traveling. These hobbies help her recharge and stay grounded, which translates into being present and engaged in her work with clients.
