Alyssa Cozzone obtained her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University. Alyssa specializes in addressing a spectrum of challenges, including mood regulation, grief and loss, anxiety and depressive symptoms reduction, anger management, and delivering parent coaching and psycho-education. She is well-versed in evidence-based practices, employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques.

With a deep commitment to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds, Alyssa possesses a wealth of experience in offering comprehensive emotional support, connecting individuals with relevant resources, and providing expert guidance. Her expertise extends across various age groups, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Recognized for her empathetic approach, compassionate demeanor, and attentive listening skills, Alyssa is dedicated to fostering personal growth and assisting individuals in achieving their therapeutic goals and supporting her clients on their journey towards emotional well-being and fulfillment.

Outside of her clinical work, you will find Alyssa working out, reading, and spending time with animals.
