Alexis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Phobias and related disorders. Alexis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a minor in Communications specialized in healthcare. Furthering her education, she obtained a Master of Arts from The University of Chicago, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. With a wealth of experience spanning from adolescents to adults across diverse environments, Alexis employs a therapeutic framework blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). Alexis champions a collaborative approach to treatment, empowering her clients to leverage their strengths for progress and healing. Additionally, Alexis has undergone Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training.
