Coping With Stress at Work

LOA Webzine · April 6, 2019
Academic/Career/Financial Stress & Anxiety

This is a great look at how to make small, measurable, realistic changes in your work routine to understand where your stressors are coming from and where you have control. I am always a fan of resources that offer user-friendly, realistic strategies to problem solving. The article outlines the following for managing your stress at work:

-Track your stressors
-Develop healthy responses (this is where practicing CBT techniques can be effective!)
-Establish boundaries
-Take time to recharge
-Learn how to relax
-Talk to your supervisor
-Get some support (therapy is a great place to do this!)

Coping With Stress at Work

Working hard should not be confused with overworking at the expense of relationships and physical health.
