LOA is a team-based working environment that supports personal professional growth as well as opportunities to think outside the box and engage in areas of interest that may not fit the existing model.
You do not need to have followed a traditional “straight-line” clinical path to thrive at Light On Anxiety.

Choosing where to begin my second career as a clinician was a thoughtful and intentional decision. After receiving five offers from a variety of agencies and private practices, I ultimately chose Light On Anxiety because of its strong structure, supportive culture, and clear commitment to clinician growth and excellence.
The support that is offered to the employees, the understanding and flexibility, the trainings, the fact that management is so concerned about employee satisfaction, burnout, etc., just goes to show how great Light On Anxiety is!

Administrative support is available to handle most aspects of billing, scheduling, facilities management, information technology, and other non-clinical needs required to provide exceptional mental health services to clients.
There is always someone to hear what I need, and if there is any issue it is resolved really quickly. I love how LOA listens to employees and works on making processes better for us. It’s been so great being able to focus on my sessions rather than administrative things.

The Light On Anxiety one-year training institute gives new associates the tools to learn the psychoeducation and treatment protocols, as well as discuss and role play case studies, of each condition treated at our practice.
You’ll be a successful team member if you’re proactive, coachable, and engaged in your work. Strong communication, accountability, and a willingness to keep growing are essential.
It depends on your role, but most days include a mix of your core responsibilities, team communication, and ongoing development or learning.
The process varies by role, but typically includes a few conversations so we can get to know you and you can get a feel for how we work.
You’re not just stepping into a role — you’re building skills in an environment that balances support with accountability and truly values growth.
You’ll be part of our Clinical Training Institute, with structured, ongoing learning in evidence-based CBT and related approaches.
You’ll have weekly small-group supervision along with ongoing support, feedback, and opportunities to strengthen your clinical work.
Your caseload is built thoughtfully over time. You’ll be matched with clients based on fit, while getting support to build momentum and confidence.
Yes. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients while continuing to grow your skills with strong support in place.
You won’t be on your own. Between supervision, training, and ongoing check-ins, you’ll have consistent support as you build your confidence and clinical range.
You’ll provide assessments, prescribing, and follow-up care, either as a standalone service or in collaboration with a therapist.
Collaboration is a key part of our model. You’ll work alongside therapists to support clients in a coordinated, team-based way.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with both children and adults across a range of presenting concerns.
You’ll have support with care coordination, documentation, and ongoing development as part of a growing and collaborative team.
You’re part of an integrated care model where medication is one piece of a larger, thoughtful approach to helping clients feel better, faster.
The Light On Anxiety postdoctoral training program is based in an outpatient, specialty behavioral health setting dedicated to evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. The program serves children, adolescents, and adults presenting with concerns such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (including harm OCD and “just right” presentations), school refusal, and performance-related anxiety.
Mind Matters Student Fellows offers selective pre-professional training for high school students interested in mental wellness, leadership, and making an impact in their school community.

As a therapist I get goosebumps every time a client puts in the work and sees results. It is so much fun to be at LOA, apply CBT and watch the magic happen!!
