Therapeutic truths that are easy to hear, but hard to accept. 🀍

Healing can feel uncomfortable before it feels peaceful.
Your self-worth doesn’t have to be earned.
And setting boundaries can bring guiltβ€”even when you’re doing what’s best for you.

Growth isn’t always comfortable, but discomfort doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong. Sometimes, it means you’re learning to choose yourself in new ways. 🌱

Having lived in India, Vancouver, Canada, and now the United States, Anima brings a broad multicultural perspective to her work. As an immigrant who has experienced the challenges of adapting to a new country, culture, and way of life, she understands many of the emotional and practical transitions individuals and families may face. She speaks multiple languages and values creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Anima is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive space where clients of all ages feel heard, respected, and valued. She works collaboratively with each client to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that foster confidence, emotional well-being, and personal growth. Her goal is to help every client build on their strengths, overcome life’s challenges, and become the healthiest and most authentic version of themselves.

When she is not working, Anima enjoys spending time in nature. She can often be found exploring forest preserves, running, birdwatching, hiking, or traveling. These experiences help her stay grounded, curious, and connectedβ€”qualities she brings into her work as she supports clients on their own journeys toward healing and growth.

Square Breathing Pop-its

Slow Breathing Pop-It is a simple, hands-on tool that helps you regulate your breath and calm your body in moments of stress or anxiety. By pressing each bubble in a slow, steady rhythm, you naturally pace your breathingβ€”slowing your inhale and exhaleβ€”which signals your nervous system to shift out of fight-or-flight and into a more relaxed state. It’s an easy, portable way to build mindful breathing into your day, whether you’re at home, school, or on the go.

CBT Exercise Cubes

CBT Exercise Cubes are an interactive, hands-on way to practice coping skills and shift unhelpful thought patterns. Each side of the cube prompts a different CBT-based strategyβ€”such as reframing thoughts, grounding in the present moment, or taking a small action stepβ€”making it easier to break out of anxious or stuck thinking. By turning the cube and engaging with each prompt, you build flexibility in how you respond to stress, turning insight into action in a simple, approachable way.
