Marie Brzezinski earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Western Illinois University. Having spent years working within the school system, she holds a deep appreciation for the daily social, emotional, and academic realities that shape a young person’s life. This background allows her to look at each client’s world holistically, helping youth and their families find clarity and balance. While Marie treats clients across the lifespan, her practice focuses primarily on children and adolescents.
Marie’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in a client-centered, strengths-based approach. She is passionate about walking alongside clients during pivotal life transitions, such as helping children explore changing household dynamics or supporting older teens as they navigate the impactful decisions of transitioning into adulthood. To foster growth and emotional regulation, Marie integrates techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT. She has experience helping youth manage anxiety, academic and social stress, peer relationships, and behavioral and emotional regulation, always aiming to help clients discover their own strengths to live a meaningful life.
When she isn’t working, Marie enjoys reading, spending time with her two cats, or checking out new cafes and restaurants with her fiancé.
