Jason Williams is a mental health professional who earned his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. He has a passion for working with a variety of clients across many different clinical areas, including depression, anxiety, family and school issues, trauma, identity development, and gender-affirming care. Jason’s experiences focus primarily on youth and adolescents. He utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, Jason incorporates techniques such as thought work, emotional regulation, values, strengths-building, and mindfulness. Jason is committed to helping every client find ways to live a meaningful life and contend with all the struggles that come with living. 

Jason knows everyone is unique and on their own journey through life. You can expect him to be considerate of your needs, tailoring treatment goals and interventions to what is most comfortable for you. He strives to create a warm and safe environment that can foster a trusting therapeutic alliance, building understand and empathy with all clients. 

Outside of his work, Jason loves spending time with his two cats, making coffee, and staying up to date on new movies.
