Jacy Szlufik
Naperville Virtual

Jacy Szlufik is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Xavier University. To further advance her clinical expertise, she later earned a post-master’s PMHNP certificate from the University of Cincinnati.

Before transitioning into psychiatry, Jacy built a diverse clinical foundation in multiple high-acuity nursing specialties. Her nursing experience includes toxicology, intensive care, and flight-nursing. These experiences strengthened her assessment skills, critical decision-making, and a calm, patient-centered approach in complex situations.

As a PMHNP, Jacy has specialized experience in substance use treatment and recovery-focused care. She is passionate about building relationships with patients and ensuring their goals remain at the center of their treatment. Jacy believes in a holistic philosophy of care, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of health. She strives to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.

This is my first good experience with therapy and it has really helped me to make some positive changes in my life.
