Meet Marie Brzezinski, LPC

Marie Brzezinski
Virtual Wilmette

Marie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with clients across the lifespan, focusing on helping individuals navigate major life shifts and transitions. Marie earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Western Illinois University. Having spent years working in schools, observing how family and organizational systems impact individual well-being, she helps clients break down stress, learn to set boundaries, and reconnect with their own voice.

Stepping into new chapters of adulthood often highlights old patterns that no longer serve us, which can bring up feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. Whether you’re shifting how you relate to your family of origin, navigating changing relationship dynamics, or redefining your career path, Marie provides a grounded, supportive space to figure out your next steps in life.

Marie’s therapeutic style is warm, client-centered, and deeply empathetic. She integrates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to offer both deep emotional processing and concrete skill-building. Her goal is to ensure that you feel seen, supported, and fully equipped to cultivate meaningful relationships, starting with the one you have with yourself.

In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with her two cats, or check out new restaurants and cafes with her fiancΓ© .

Strong attention to my needs and providing a safe space to help through my struggles.
