Jess Garlow-Swan is a Certified Light On Anxiety Treatment Specialist and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a specialization in Human Development from DePaul University. Jess has clinical experience providing individual and family therapy to adults, children, and adolescents utilizing empirically supported treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and play therapy.


Jess is passionate about working with clients of all ages and backgrounds to create meaningful, long-lasting change. She values creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to better understand their thoughts and behaviors and to apply the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). By working collaboratively, Jess helps clients identify and engage in useful coping mechanisms to make positive changes in their lives, decrease anxiety and enhance wellbeing. Jess has a special interest in treating OCD, phobias, and other anxiety disorders.
