Grace Kamp is a Certified Light On Anxiety Treatment Specialist and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who is passionate about helping children and teens navigate anxiety, build confidence, and develop lifelong coping skills. She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Missouri State University.
Grace enjoys working with children and teens who experience excessive worry, overthinking, perfectionism, fear of making mistakes, reassurance-seeking, and difficulty tolerating uncertainty. She also supports young clients navigating school-related anxiety, social worries, and avoidance of situations that feel overwhelming. With a warm, enthusiastic, and strengths-based approach, Grace incorporates humor and creativity into sessions to help children feel comfortable, connected, and understood.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. Grace helps children and teens navigate difficult emotions, respond differently to anxious thoughts, and face challenges with greater confidence and flexibility.
Outside of therapy, Grace enjoys reading realistic fiction, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with friends around Chicago.
