Dr. Robert Banty is a dedicated psychotherapist with advanced training in the therapeutic treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. He earned his Ph.D. from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Banty also holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University with a specialization in child and adolescent psychotherapy. He has worked and trained within community clinics, private practices, and hospital settings including across all levels of care. Dr. Banty completed his doctoral internship with Rogers Behavioral Health at their main campus in Oconomowoc, WI, within their child and adolescent inpatient unit. 

As a clinician, Dr. Banty is skilled in the treatment of mood, anxiety, trauma, attachment, and neurodevelopmental related disorders. He is knowledgeable in an expansive variety of empirically informed treatment approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered, and Psychodynamic treatment. Dr. Banty is adept in working with clients across the lifespan, with expertise in child, adolescent, and family therapies rooted in attachment theory, developmental understanding, and family systems principles. He has experience in psychological assessment, advocacy for academic interventions within school systems, and supporting families navigating divorce and co-parenting challenges.
