Dr. Barbara Benton grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She graduated from Loyola Stritch school of medicine and served 4 years in the United States Navy as a general medical officer. Dr. Benton then completed a residency in psychiatry at Loyola Stritch. She has owned and operated a private practice since graduation, specializing in complex medication management, individual therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. She has experience as a medical director for outpatient clinics, intensive outpatient programs and partial hospital programs.
