Clarissa Velázquez is a fourth-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology where she is hoping to complete her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Rehabilitation Psychology.  

Clarissa currently has experience working, under supervision, with children, adolescents, adults,  and older adults within a cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and relational therapeutic framework. Her background in research is creating interventions to target mental health  inequities and stigma in Spanish-speaking Latine communities. Clarissa’s mission as a clinician  in training is to gain new tools and knowledge and incorporate them in culturally relevant ways.
