Brooke Werner earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Brooke takes a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. She believes that everyone’s experiences are unique and that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be shaped by what we have been through. She works with clients of all ages to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop practical tools to manage challenges and create meaningful change.

Brooke uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), while tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs, personality, and goals. Whether someone is working through anxiety, difficult emotions, life changes, relationships, or simply wants to better understand themselves, Brooke strives to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves.

Outside of therapy, Brooke enjoys spending time with friends and family, curling up with a good book, and discovering new places to listen to live music.

When not working, Brooke enjoys spending time with her friends and family, curling up with a good book, and finding places to listen to live music.

My therapist is an extremely good listener and has provided me with excellent tools to improve my overall mental health.
