Jenay Kocsis is a 3rd year student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Roosevelt University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Capital University and her non-terminal Master’s degree from Roosevelt University.
Jenay’s approach to neuropsychological testing is holistic and person-centered. She focuses on building rapport and considering a person’s strengths and challenges through the lens of their environment, culture, and mental health. In clinical work, Jenay strives to create a welcoming and collaborative environment that fosters a space for authenticity, growth, and reflection. She leans on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Time Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in her clinical work with clients.
When not at Light on Anxiety, Jenay enjoys reading, thrifting, taking CrossFit classes, and spending time with her tuxedo cat.
