Jessica Crough
Lakeview Virtual

Jessica Crough is a Licensed Professional Counselor candidate who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She later completed her Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School in Chicago, Illinois.

Jessica has experience working with adults, adolescents, and families. Her clinical background consists of crisis intervention, emotional regulation, inpatient, and intensive outpatient care where she has been able to support individuals navigating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and severe mental illness. She also works to support children and adolescents facing familial incarceration.

She believes in a safe and collaborative therapeutic alliance, where clients can learn, grow, and heal. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques to help individuals commit to change, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and develop a more adaptive way of responding to difficult situations. Jessica also values that each person is unique in their individual lived experiences and therefore implements a client-centered approach when appropriate.

Jessica is dedicated to working alongside individuals in their journey to healing while empowering them to overcome obstacles and build resilience. Outside of the therapeutic environment, Jessica enjoys exercising, cooking, spending time with her loved ones, and watching movies!

Probably the best therapy I’ve ever had!
