She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy that honors each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Drawing on her experience in clinical and school-based social work, Anima has supported individuals and families through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. She has extensive experience providing individual and group counseling, social-emotional skill development, behavioral interventions, parent and caregiver support, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful, lasting change.

Anima’s therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental. She believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with the right support and tools. She utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, strengths-based therapy, person-in-environment, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, regulate emotions, improve relationships, build resilience, and create lasting positive change.

Anima is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive environment where clients of all ages feel heard, respected, and valued. She works collaboratively with each client to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that foster confidence, emotional well-being, and personal growth. Her goal is to help every client build on their strengths, overcome life’s challenges, and become the healthiest and most authentic version of themselves.

I like the connections made and the helpfulness of the suggestions, as well as the accommodability and personalization of sessions.
