Meet Hannah Turner, LPC

Hannah Turner
Arlington Heights Virtual

Hannah Turner is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people of all ages feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Journalism, from the University of Missouri before completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University.

Hannah believes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. She works collaboratively with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects their unique goals, strengths, and experiences. Using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she helps clients build practical skills while fostering self-awareness, resilience, and lasting growth.

Hannah enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, and has experience supporting individuals through anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, depression, life stress, and major life transitions. Whether someone is navigating everyday challenges or working through something that has been weighing on them for years, she strives to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to be themselves.

Outside of the therapy office, Hannah loves getting lost in a good book, trying new crafts, caring for her growing collection of plants, and spending time with her cat, Harley.

Hannah was extremely empathetic and made it feel like a safe space even though I was really nervous.
