Maddie Bishop is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master’s of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents. Her background includes working with unhoused populations and clients navigating a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Maddie has supported clients experiencing social anxiety, generalized anxiety, PTSD, and depression. She draws on evidence-based practices to meet each of their needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and expressive modalities such as art and play-based therapy.
Maddie strives to build a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, prioritizing each client’s unique needs and lived experience. She emphasizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. With compassion and curiosity, Maddie empowers clients to engage in meaningful self-reflection and take steps towards growth and healing. She supports them in building insight, confidence, and tools for success.
Outside of work, Maddie spends her time hiking, hanging out with her dog, and enjoying time with family.
