Yoga can be beneficial for everyone but especially for those of us suffering from anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Regulating breathing, lowering our bodies’ stress response, and focusing attention to the present moment are just some of the pros to practicing yoga. But did you know that yoga can increase your pain tolerance and lower pain activity in your brain?
