Stephanie is Certified in CBT for Anxiety & OCD and is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University and obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health with minors in Psychology and Nutritional Science from Indiana University in 2016. Stephanie’s previous work experience includes working as a counselor at a residential facility for adolescents with eating disorders for four years prior to starting graduate school.
Stephanie uses the backings of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Psychodynamic practices in order to help clients gain awareness into their struggles and learn new coping strategies to be able to affectively deal with whatever life brings. Stephanie has specialized trainings in CBT for anxiety and OCD. Through empowerment, warmth and a strong therapeutic alliance, Stephanie stresses the importance of building a safe space for her clients to be able to improve their overall well-being.
