Light on Anxiety invites people who struggle with public speaking anxiety to CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) treatment group held at our Lakeview location. CBT has proven to be a very effective fast intervention therapy to help you to understand and manage it with effective and practical strategies – through ‘learning and doing’.
In this group, you will be coached on tips to work through your public speaking anxiety, and practice in the presence of others who deal with the same thing (the best way to conquer your fear is practice!) First time in the group? There is no obligation whatsoever to speak.
No commitment, you can just show up and sit, see how you feel, participate if you so please. Your mere presence is important and valuable. This is a huge step toward working through this anxiety and we completely understand and will not question this. These Meetups are currently capped at 10 members.
