Zach Leezer, LCSW, CCATP
Zach received his Master of Social Work in Mental Health from The University of Illinois at Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Bradley University. He has also received extensive training to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). Zach has experience and advanced training in providing CBT and exposure and response prevention (ERP) based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety disorders and OCD. Zach also has training and experience treating depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, substance use disorders, and trauma. In addition, he has obtained advanced training in the treatment of trichotillomania, skin picking and other body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). He has special interest in working with individuals in the LGBTQ community, particularly with their relationship to religion including but not limited to religious deconversion. He also enjoys helping clients improve their self-esteem. His treatment approach is affirming, collaborative, and task-oriented with a touch of humor.
