Zach Leezer, LCSW, CCATP
Zach received his Master of Social Work in Mental Health from The University of Illinois at Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Bradley University. Zach has experience and advanced training in providing CBT and exposure and response prevention (ERP) based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing symptoms of stress related disorders, Anxiety, OCD, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Trauma. He has also received extensive training to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). In addition, he has obtained advanced training in the treatment of Trichotillomania, skin picking and other Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors. He has a special interest in using Mindfulness based techniques and behavioral approaches to help his clients move past their anxiety and related symptoms and instead put their energy into valued living. His treatment approach is affirming, collaborative, and solution-focused with a touch of humor. Zach believes that recovery is interactive, and strives to help his clients access supportive resources in their community.
