Meet Tommy Sheridan, BA

Tommy is a graduate student at Northwestern University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. While specializing in child and adolescent development, she is committed to helping individuals through the lifespan thrive through both the joys and challenges in life. Tommy’s work as a certified grief and loss coach has given her a deep understanding of the resilience that individuals can build when facing adversity, and she is passionate about helping them tap into their strengths and resources.

Tommy utilizes a combination of strength-based and psychodynamic approaches in her therapeutic work, acknowledging the importance of both empowering people to recognize and develop their strengths and working to uncover the underlying emotional patterns that shape their experiences. She is committed to creating systems and structures that promote resilience, strength and well-being for individuals, their support systems and communities. Tommy is proud to have raised three wonderful humans of her own and brings the same spirit of compassion, dedication and care to her work.

Tommy is great. She has made my life better; when I’m feeling down she always lifts me up.
