Sara Gallant, ALMFT
Sara is a certified CBT and OCD Specialist and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. Sara received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University while simultaneously completing her internship at the Bette D. Harris Family and Child Clinic at The Family Institute. Sara has since worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families in crisis within community mental health and private practice settings. Sara has worked closely with families following traumatic experiences, chaotic divorces and/or separations, child/adolescent anxiety and depression, “big behaviors” such as tantrums and aggression, and improving parent-child relationships. Sara has always had a lifelong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families and it shows through the strong relationships she builds with her clients. She values the voices of all family members in the system which creates safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship.
