Sara Gallant, LMFT
Sara is a certified CBT and OCD Specialist and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. She received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University while simultaneously completing my internship at the Bette D. Harris Family and Child Clinic at The Family Institute. Sara has since worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, and families within community mental health and group practice settings. Her experience includes working closely with children, individuals, and families experiencing anxiety-provoking life changes, OCD, intrusive thoughts, school/work anxiety, explosive anger, “big behaviors” such as tantrums and aggression, and strained family relationships. She has always had a lifelong passion for working with individuals who are struggling and it shows through the unique, strong bonds she builds with her clients and families. She values the voices of all members in a system creating a sense of security in each therapeutic relationship. Sara’s spirited, action-oriented style allows for her clients to begin seeing progress quickly and gaining confidence within their abilities.
