Jessie Lankford, LSW
Jessie is a Licensed Social Worker and a certified CBT and OCD Specialist and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. Jessie received her Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago as well as a Bachelor in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jessie has extensive experience working in a variety of treatment settings with children, adolescents and families. She specializes in the use of CBT, ERP, DBT and Behavioral Activation practices in order to treat those struggling with OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Sexual related Trauma, Eating Disorders, and other related disorders. Jessie also holds certificates in Trauma Informed Care, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, and is a certified Level 1 Gottman Couples therapist.
Jessie believes in using a holistic, collaborative approach that focuses on client’s strengths in order to promote progress and healing. She also recognizes that therapy can be incredibly challenging and therefore utilizes warmth and compassion coupled with honesty and authenticity in order to help individuals achieve their treatment goals.
