Hannah Romain, LLMSW
Hannah has a Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and is a certified CBT for Anxiety & OCD specialist having completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. In addition, Hannah has successfully completed an advanced training program in CBT-I (CBT for Insomnia) as well as a BFRB Training. She received both of her degrees from the University of Michigan. Hannah has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. Additionally, Hannah is experienced in working with individuals with special needs and their families, as well as children with Selective Mutism. Through the use of evidence-based practices including CBT, MI, and mindfulness, Hannah aims to serve as a guide and collaborator as clients navigate the complexities of life and work toward their individual goals.
Hannah aims to create an affirming space for her clients and believes that the relationship between the client and therapist is essential to the therapeutic process. Through her warm, empathic, and strengths-based approach, Hannah promotes self-exploration, resilience, and growth among her clients. She understands that therapy is a unique experience for every person and can be meaningful, uncomfortable, challenging, empowering, and everything in between. She believes in the resilience of her clients and enjoys being with them each step of the way on their journey toward sustainable growth and change.
