Hallie Foster, MSW, received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama. She brings a rich clinical background spanning both inpatient care and school-based mental health. Her experience includes working as a school therapist and social-emotional learning specialist, where she provided therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and families navigating a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
Hallie’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, panic disorders, eating disorders, school-related stress, and identity development. She is especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, and often draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, DBT, and relational-cultural theory to foster growth, insight, and self-compassion. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and deeply person-centered, focused on building safety, trust, and emotional resilience.
Hallie believes in healing the whole person and sees therapy as a space to unlearn harmful patterns, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with one’s inner sense of worth. Originally from Alabama, she brings warmth, curiosity, and grounded empathy into the therapeutic relationship. Outside of her sessions, she enjoys yoga, coffee shop hopping, planning weekend getaways, and spending time by the lake.
